Croatia Travel Experts Tour Review - Submitted by Jeanette Fletcher
This was a review submitted via E-mail after a week long trip to Croatia by one of our clients. Tour planned and executed by Jeri Lee of Travel Experts Vista.
Day 1- Dubrovnik
“Day one at Dubrovnik, the hotel was amazing, AMAZING! The breakfast was amazing and we found out that buying the bus pass was the way to go. it was like 12 kuna ($1.75 us) and it was for all day. parking downtown sucked so the bus was the way to go and it was fast and very clean, also right next to the hotel. Also whoever goes has to walk the old town walls. We decided to do that instead of other plans and we were so happy. The tour guide was so funny and she made the whole experience romantic with her stories. Food was great!”

Day 3 : Zadar, Croatia
"I'm so glad we went, because the Pula arena was unreal."
Day 4: Pula, Croatia
“So the next day instead of going to the lakes because the locals told us to make it a whole day, we went to Pula. So freaking cool. I’m so glad we went because the Pula arena was unreal and they still do shows. Also my husbands sister lives in italy and she drove over to have lunch with us. Then we drove to zagreb. Ummm and we went through the longest tunnel in croatia. It was kinda scary. about 3 and a half minutes.”
Day 5-6: Zagreb, Croatia
“Zagreb was amazing. Our tour guide Tim was our favorite one. He was so awesome and he really seemed like he loved his job and croatia. This city was so beautiful and had so much character. And yes spend at least two days here. There were free concerts and movies in the park. So one of the days we were staying in Zagreb we did go to Plitvice Lakes. Wow, just wow. you have to go see them. I still think they were fake. The hotel in Zagreb was very nice and looking back we should have stayed here the 3rd night.
So then we moved to that art deco hotel. I do not recommend it because the staff was very rude and nothing was very convenient. We had to park in another hotels parking. haha it was on the outskirts of town and not much around. Very snobby people there. ”
